Over 165,000 Selections of Digital Sheet Music - Difference Between a Scorch file and a Solero File

With a Scorch file, your music is always modified, played and printed and from within your browser. There is not a separate piece of software that needs to be installed - just the Scorch browser plug-in.
 

With a Solero file, once you purchase a selection, you need to open the Solero software on your computer and download the scores into the software - so you are actually leaving our site to modify, play and print the music!

Windows: Internet Explorer 4 or higher, Netscape 4 or higher, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.

Mac OS X: Mac OS 10.2.8, 10.3.9, 10.4 or higher, Safari, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape 6 or higher, Opera 5 or higher, or OmniWeb. Internet Explorer is not currently supported.

Legacy Editions are high-quality digital sheet music selections designed to preserve the musical integrity of the original work. Like any title purchased from Sheet Music Digital, these editions can be downloaded, viewed and printed using the Solero Music Viewer. However, in order to maintain playability and remain true to the composer's original intentions, these items cannot be transposed and, due to this specialized format, MIDI playback is not available with these editions.

Legacy Edition Folios are high-quality digital sheet collections of Legacy scores. Legacy music selections are designed to preserve the musical integrity of the original work. Like any title purchased from Sheet Music Digital, these editions can be downloaded, viewed and printed using the Solero Music Viewer. However, in order to maintain playability and remain true to the composer's original intentions, these items cannot be transposed and, due to this specialized format, MIDI playback is not available with these editions.

For licensed sheet music, the first page is available as an image file and there is a midi file that will play a short sample of all selections if the file is in the Solero format.

You can view all pages of our public domain Sheet Music Digital Scorch scores at any time - even before purchased.

You can view all pages of all other copyright protected scores once you have paid for the selection.
 

Once you purchase a Solero score, there is a file that is downloaded to your computer.

You can then open this file and view and play all the pages of the score on-line or off-line.

Sheet music is printed and played from within browser while on line using the free Scorch plug-in.
